Blue Earth Carbon's project development model is built on structural partnerships — not transactional relationships. Each partner below plays a defined, ongoing role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of scientific rigor, community legitimacy, and regulatory compliance.
PT Denison Global Indonesia
[ Implementation Partner — INDONESIA]
PT Denison Global Indonesia is our primary in-country implementation partner, based in Surabaya, East Java. This partnership is the operational backbone of Blue Earth Carbon's work in Indonesia.
PT Denison Global manages every aspect of project implementation within Indonesia: on-the-ground restoration activities, community liaison and engagement, field monitoring and data collection, and coordination with provincial and regional government agencies. Their team brings deep familiarity with the regulatory, cultural, and logistical environment in which our projects operate.
The relationship between Blue Earth Graphene Innovation and PT Denison Global is structural, not transactional. It reflects a deliberate decision to ensure that Blue Earth Carbon's projects are implemented by a team that is genuinely embedded in the Indonesian context — not managed at arm's length from overseas.
Role in Blue Earth Carbon projects:

Yayasan Cahaya Pelita Papua

Yayasan Cahaya Pelita Papua, based in Jayapura, Papua, serves as Blue Earth Carbon's primary implementation and community engagement partner for projects in Greater Papua. In the Papua context, the foundation plays a role equivalent to that of PT Denison Global in other Indonesian provinces — providing on-the-ground presence, community trust, and institutional relationships essential for credible and sustainable project implementation.
The foundation has deep roots in Papuan civil society and maintains active relationships with indigenous communities, local government agencies, and regional institutions across Papua Province. Its involvement ensures that Blue Earth Carbon's Papua projects are grounded in genuine community partnership rather than externally imposed conservation frameworks.
Blue Earth Carbon's founder and CEO also serves as the foundation's international communication hub, supporting grant applications, international funding partnerships, and external representation — a relationship that reflects the close alignment between the foundation's community development mission and Blue Earth Carbon's restoration objectives.

Universitas Bangka Belitung (UBB)
[ Academic & Scientific Partner — BANGKA BELITUNG PROJECT ]
Universitas Bangka Belitung is our academic partner for the Bangka Belitung mangrove blue carbon project. UBB is the leading university in Bangka Belitung Islands Province and brings localized scientific expertise essential for rigorous project design and credible carbon accounting.
Mangrove ecosystem science is highly site-specific. Carbon sequestration rates, soil carbon stocks, hydrological dynamics, and species composition vary significantly across regions. UBB's researchers bring direct knowledge of the Bangka Belitung coastal environment — including the ecological pressures created by generations of tin mining activity in the region — that cannot be replicated by importing generic methodologies.
UBB's involvement provides independent scientific grounding for our monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) framework, and strengthens the credibility of the project with Indonesian government agencies and international verification bodies alike.
Role in Blue Earth Carbon projects:
• Scientific expertise in mangrove ecology and coastal hydrology specific to Bangka Belitung
• Support for baseline assessments and ecosystem carbon stock measurement

Universitas Cenderawasih (UNCEN)
[ Academic & Scientific Partner — PAPUA PROJECTS]
Universitas Cenderawasih, based in Jayapura, Papua, is our academic partner for blue carbon project development across Greater Papua. As the oldest and most established university in Papua Province, UNCEN brings the scientific expertise, regional knowledge, and institutional credibility essential for rigorous project design in Papua's complex and ecologically significant coastal environments.
Papua's mangrove ecosystems are among the most extensive and least disturbed in Indonesia, yet they are also among the least studied in blue carbon science. UNCEN's researchers bring direct knowledge of Papuan coastal ecology, indigenous land use systems, and the social and environmental dynamics that shape restoration outcomes in the region — expertise that cannot be sourced from outside Papua.
UNCEN's role mirrors that of Universitas Bangka Belitung for the Bangka Belitung project: providing independent scientific grounding for the MRV framework and strengthening the project's credibility with provincial government agencies and international verification bodies.
Role in Blue Earth Carbon projects:
• Scientific expertise in mangrove ecology and coastal hydrology specific to Papua Province
• Support for baseline assessments and ecosystem carbon stock measurement across Papua project sites
• Contribution to the MRV framework for Verra VCS project registration in Papua
• Academic legitimacy that strengthens engagement with Papua provincial government agencies
• Research collaboration on indigenous land use and blue carbon co-benefits in Papuan coastal communities
SCS Global Services
[ Third-Party Verifier — Verra VCS PROGRAMME]
SCS Global Services is our appointed third-party verification body under the Verra Verified Carbon Standard program. SCS Global is one of the world's foremost environmental certification and standards bodies, with a track record spanning forestry, agriculture, fisheries, and carbon markets across more than 100 countries.
Under the Verra VCS program, all carbon credits must be independently verified by an accredited third-party auditor before they can be issued. SCS Global's role is to assess whether Blue Earth Carbon's Bangka Belitung project meets the requirements of Methodology VM0033 — Tidal Wetland and Seagrass Restoration — and to provide the independent assurance that credit buyers and market participants require.
The appointment of SCS Global as our verifier is a deliberate signal of intent. We are not cutting corners on verification. We are working with one of the most respected names in the field, because the long-term value of our credits depends on the rigor of the process that produces them.
Role in Blue Earth Carbon projects:
• Independent third-party verification under Verra VCS / VM0033
• Assessment of project documentation, baseline data, and monitoring reports
• Credit issuance validation and ongoing periodic verification
• Assurance for carbon credit buyers and institutional investors
Provincial Government Agencies — Bangka Belitung
[ Government Engagement — Bangka Belitung Islands Province ]
Blue Earth Carbon does not begin project activities without formal engagement with the relevant Indonesian government authorities. In Bangka Belitung, we have submitted formal engagement letters to three provincial agencies whose mandates directly intersect with our project area:
Bappeda — Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah
The Provincial Development Planning Agency. Bappeda coordinates regional development strategy and ensures that major projects align with provincial planning priorities. Our engagement with Bappeda establishes Blue Earth Carbon's Bangka Belitung project within the province's longer-term development framework and creates a formal channel for ongoing government coordination.
DKP — Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan
The Provincial Marine and Fisheries Agency. DKP has direct regulatory oversight of coastal and marine areas, including mangrove zones. Their involvement is essential for ensuring that restoration activities are consistent with provincial marine spatial planning and fisheries management frameworks. DKP's engagement also reflects the fisheries co-benefits of mangrove restoration — healthier mangroves mean healthier coastal fish populations and more productive fishing grounds for local communities.
DLHK — Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan
The Provincial Environment and Forestry Agency. DLHK oversees environmental compliance and forest-related activities, including coastal vegetation management. Their engagement ensures that our restoration work is conducted within the appropriate environmental regulatory framework and that the project's ecological outcomes are formally recognized by the provincial authority responsible for environmental oversight.
Formal engagement with these three agencies — before project activities begin — is not a bureaucratic formality. It is the foundation of the project's social and regulatory license to operate. Blue Earth Carbon's relationships with provincial governments are an asset that distinguishes our projects from those that treat government engagement as an afterthought.
Open to New Collaborations
Blue Earth Carbon and Blue Earth Graphene Innovation are actively seeking partnerships with organizations whose expertise and mandates complement our work. We are particularly interested in conversations with:
